Description
Steam is a commonly used energy source in the brewing process.
Unlike traditional tanks heated by electric elements or gas burners, the steam tank uses steam to heat the wort during the brewing, boiling and water heating phases.
Steam is usually produced by an external boiler and delivered to the tank via pipes.
This system ensures precise temperature control and uniform heat distribution, which can contribute to the quality and consistency of the final product.
Our steam brewery proposal is a set of equipment designed for the beer brewing process using steam as a heat source.
Our proposal includes individual tanks with multiple functions:
1. CBSV (Cuve de Brassage par Système de Vapeur): This tank is equipped with a thermally insulated boiling system, with a motor/agitator and a flat Dimple heat exchange jacket on the body and bottom for low-pressure steam.
It also features a variable-speed agitator and all accessories specific to the process for which it is intended.
2. Filtration tank (FLRT): The wort is transferred to this tank after stirring.
It consists of a cylindrical body, a conical bottom, a conical dome with gear motor and agitator.
It is fitted with an easily removable filter and a system for discharging filtered grain, as well as all accessories specific to the process for which it is intended.
3. CESV (Cuve d’Ébullition par Système de Vapeur) : This boiling tank is essential for doubling daily production.
It consists of an insulated cylindrical body, an insulated bottom, and a conical dome, with a flat Dimple heat exchange jacket for low-pressure steam on the body and bottom.
4. CFSV (Cuve de Production d’Eau Chaude par Système de Vapeur): This tank is designed to produce hot water.
It consists of an insulated cylindrical body, an insulated bottom and a conical dome, with a Dimple exchange jacket for low-pressure steam on the body and bottom.
In addition to these tanks, steam brewhouses typically include:
– a low-pressure steam boiler,
-a water treatment SKID
-solid and liquid transfer pumps
-a plate heat exchanger on a cart sized for the volume of wort to be treated
-steam connection hoses
-transfer piping
-project study
-installation
– Installation and commissioning.
These plants are available in volumes ranging from 1000L to 5000L, with the option of custom-designed projects to suit specific needs.
Our steam range is assembled with top-quality components, complying with the most stringent production and environmental standards, and manufactured using top-quality European stainless steel.
Finishing features include a 2B natural stainless steel outer and inner surface, offering clean aesthetics and exceptional durability, with a Ra polish <0.8μm. On the inside, the welds are polished to Ra <0.5 μm, ensuring a smooth, hygienic surface.
The welding process is carried out both automatically and manually, using TIG technology in an inert argon gas atmosphere, guaranteeing impeccable joints and solid construction.
